IMEC’s 2015 trade show season gets off to a start this week over in Tulsa at the 2015 Tulsa Industrial and Tool Show. The show runs Wednesday from 11-5 and Thursday from 9-3 and will be at the Central Park Hall at the Expo Square in Tulsa. We will be exhibiting and will be at booth 210 showing off our metal fabrication skills.
We have quite a few customers in the Greater Tulsa area (including Claremore, Broken Arrow, Bartlesville). So it is always a good show where you can have the opportunity to see some of your current customers as well as meet up with new ones. It’s truly a regional show: at previous ones, have had people from Kansas, Arkansas and Missouri drop by the IMEC booth.
Tulsa usually puts on a pretty good show. The town itself supports a wide variety of manufacturing, from oil and gas, to aerospace, mining, industrial, etc. With the oil and gas sector down right now, will be interesting to see what, if any, impact that might have on the show and the attendees.
The trade show is free to attend and if you get there around lunch, they also provide a free meal to attendees (and, thankfully, exhibitors). So, if you are in the Tulsa area, or are looking for an excuse to get out of the office , please come out. And, if you do, drop by booth 210 and say hi – I’ll save a candy bar for you.
